Gilbert Cemetery is one of the smaller cemeteries not among
those indexed by the Van Buren County Genealogical Society.

| This cemetery is on the present (in 1965) Hubert
Gilbert farm, about 3/4 mile west from the house - and on a high bluff
looking down on the Des Moines river. This is a heavily wooded
area, and in spite of the height of one monument it was difficult for
Mrs. Gilbert to locate it. The cemetery is listed as Gilbert
